Purchase terms.

Your proposal and purchase terms

VORL Boost has a separate, itemised service agreement. Its public calculator provides guide prices for a fit assessment; it does not place an order or authorise payment, subscription or activation. See Boost options, availability and care arrangements.

For a new Studio project, the exact proposal sets out your chosen direction, pages, features, full price, deposit, balance, delivery timing, revisions, support and hosting arrangements. Review and accept it before paying. VORL is not VAT registered. No VAT is charged.

The core website includes up to six agreed pages. Additional standard pages are £75 each. Animation and custom functionality are individually quoted. Editing of supported content, deployment support and personalised handover are included within the agreed scope.

A mockup or scope submission is not an order. Customer acceptance, verified payment where required, and the separate owner production and launch approvals remain in place. Wholly free pilots do not require a deposit.

Your accepted agreement remains the authority for your project. Existing accepted prices, page allowances and commitments are unchanged.

Earlier standard purchase terms — existing agreements only

These apply only when this exact version forms part of your accepted agreement. They do not replace a new Studio proposal.

Your website order

The Done-For-You Website is a redesign or rebuild of a standard brochure or service website using your agreed content and brand. Your individual purchase summary identifies the selected pages, source website, excluded features, price and revision allowance. The standard package covers up to seven agreed core pages, listed in your purchase summary, and includes:

  • responsive design
  • light editing of supplied copy
  • contact links
  • basic page metadata
  • two structured revision rounds within scope
  • one first-draft creative reset after a short re-brief

A round may include several related changes. We use assisted production tools, and we personally review the site before sharing it.

The package does not include an online shop, an account or membership system, a portal, complex booking or payment integration, a new brand identity, extensive copywriting, or any other feature outside your agreed summary. Additional work is quoted and agreed with you separately before we do or charge for it. We review your old site's existing links, galleries, files, forms and outside services during migration. If a function cannot be safely preserved, we hold it for an agreed decision rather than silently omitting it.

Price and payment

For this GBP package the total is £495. VORL Studio is not VAT registered and does not charge VAT. The £195 deposit is part of that total; it is not an extra fee. The £300 balance is due only after you approve the exact final website version, and before launch or handover. A website check, enquiry, saved brief or private preview is not an order or a payment. You see the current scope, full terms and price before choosing to pay the deposit.

Timing and your material

We aim to present the first version within 5–7 working days after your deposit is verified and usable source material is available. If information, permission or access is missing, or a genuine delay arises, we will explain what is needed and give you an updated date. If we are waiting for information or feedback from you, we may pause work and will tell you that we have done so. A pause does not approve the website, make the balance due, or change your cancellation and refund rights. You can resume the project, or cancel as described below.

You are responsible for checking the facts, claims, testimonials, accreditation status, contact details and permissions for material you provide or approve. You confirm that you may provide and republish the photographs, logo, documents and other content supplied for this project. We will not publish disputed or unverified material simply because it appeared on an existing website. We will agree the final version with you before release.

Hosting, domain and renewal

The £495 price includes the first year of managed hosting, beginning when the agreed site is verified available to you. Hosting includes SSL, uptime monitoring and basic technical maintenance. Content and design changes are separate unless we agree them in writing. Your domain registration and renewals are separate, and your domain remains yours. We ask for scoped provider access or invitations, not account passwords. Domain connection, and the checks that protect your existing website and email records, are separate from design approval.

After the included year, hosting is £180 for each further year, billed annually. We will give at least 30 days' notice before the next period, and show the period and due date on an invoice. Renewal is your choice; we do not automatically charge your card. We will not change your domain or delete your site automatically because a renewal invoice is unpaid.

If you do not renew, we will:

  • tell you in writing when hosting will end
  • give you the agreed website files
  • coordinate a reasonable handover or transfer before that date

If a paid renewal period ends early by agreement, we will refund £15 for each whole unused month after the agreed end date. Domain charges and separately agreed third-party licences are not included in that hosting refund.

Cancellation and refunds

Email hello@vorlstudio.com if you wish to cancel. Production begins only after we send you a dated email confirming your approved brief and that work is starting. Work done before that email does not count as production for refund purposes.

  • If production has not started, we will refund the £195 deposit in full.
  • If production has started but the site has not been delivered, we will give you an itemised account of completed work and any unavoidable costs you agreed to. We may deduct those amounts from the deposit, up to a maximum of £195, and refund the unused part.

The £300 balance is not due without your approval of the final version. If we cannot deliver the agreed service, we will discuss an appropriate remedy or refund rather than treating the project as delivered.

Approval and 14-day fixes

You review and approve the exact version intended for release. A technical deployment alone does not start your included fix period. The 14-day defect-fix period begins when the agreed website is verified available to you. It covers faults in the delivered build against the agreed scope. New pages, features, and design or content changes are separately agreed. Please tell us about a problem through your project page or hello@vorlstudio.com so we can assess and correct it.

Files, ownership and moving away

You retain ownership of your supplied content and your domain. After full payment, we give you the agreed website files and authorised assets, with a continuing, non-exclusive right to use, edit and host the delivered site. Third-party photographs, fonts, software and other assets remain subject to their own licences, which we will identify where used. VORL retains its pre-existing templates, production tools and build system; those internal systems are not transferred as part of the website files. You may move the delivered site to a compatible host. Your domain is not held as security for payment.

Showing our work

We will only show your finished website in our portfolio or case studies if you give us separate permission. Saying no does not affect your order.
